Momentum Quest · A self-guided team workshop

Every team is already
on an expedition.

Work together long enough and you develop habits. Those habits become patterns. And eventually, they become the trails your team keeps taking.

Momentum Quest turns your team's own perspectives into a personalized virtual expedition, so you can see those trails together and decide where to go next.

What is Momentum Quest?

A short walk through how it works — and how your team can try it.

The idea

Every team becomes
a human system.

Spend enough time working together and certain ways of doing things just become normal.

How you communicate. Who steps in when things get hard. What gets talked about and what doesn't. How decisions get made. Who ends up carrying more than everyone else.

Over time, all of it starts shaping what it actually feels like to be on your team.

Do people trust each other?
Can they speak openly?
Does the workload feel fair?

These are some of the conditions shaping your human system every day.

Why every Quest is different

Built from your team's
own perspectives.

1

Everyone brings their own perspective.

Before the Quest, each teammate privately reflects on two things: what their ideal work experience would feel like, and how their team feels today.

Your answers stay anonymous.

2

Those perspectives reveal your team's expedition.

We bring everyone's perspectives together to understand the trails your team is taking today and what your shared summit of momentum could look like.

Not someone else's definition of a great team. Yours.

3

Then we build your Momentum Quest.

Your team's human system becomes a personalized virtual expedition. You come together to discover your current trails, explore what they mean, and decide on one new trail you want to take together.

No two teams travel the same trails. So no two teams get the same Quest.

Built for honest participation

The Quest only works when people
feel safe enough to tell the truth.

Momentum Quest is designed to help the team understand itself — not evaluate individual employees.

Private by design

Individual answers aren't exposed. No names, no written comments that could reveal who said what.

Built from the whole team

Different perspectives are combined into a team-level picture. No one receives an individual report or score.

The team owns the conversation

The Quest is for understanding the team, not evaluating individuals.

We do not use the answers to evaluate people.
We use them to help the team see the system surrounding the work.

This is a tool for the team, built from the team, and completed by the team.

Is this right for our team?

Built for teams who depend on
each other to get work done.

About an hour
one focused session

Plus a 5-minute anonymous check-in beforehand.

If you regularly work together, depend on one another, and share responsibility for getting something done — Momentum Quest is designed for you.

Questions

Before you set out

What will my team actually do?

Beforehand, each teammate spends a few private minutes sharing their perspective. Then your team gathers for about an hour on one shared screen — in a room or on a call — and the Quest guides you step by step: comparing perspectives, making sense of the pattern together, and choosing one better way of working to carry forward.

How long does it take?

Reserve about an hour together, uninterrupted. The private input beforehand takes roughly five to seven minutes per person.

Are answers really private?

Yes. Individual answers are combined into a team-level picture — no names, no individual scores or reports. The Quest is built to understand the team, not evaluate anyone in it.

Does a manager need to participate?

The experience belongs to the team. A manager can join when they're genuinely part of the working team, but no one gets special access inside the Quest.

What happens after the Quest?

Your team leaves with one clear agreement to carry into everyday work, and a simple way for leadership to support it. The rest we'll walk you through inside.
